This Unapproved CAT5E Solid-core UTP Cable is perfect for those installing CCTV systems and don’t want the cost of RG59U cabling.

With the use of Video and Power Baluns, video, audio and power can be sent over twisted pair cables at reduced cost to using RG59U Coaxial cables. Since video, audio and power don’t require the high specifications and bandwidth of 100TBASE and 1000TBASE network connections, DOSS has sourceda cable to reduce cost further, while still exceeding specifications required for twisted pair CCTV transmission.

While the cable is Unapproved for CAT5E applications, our tests indicate that it is still morethan adequate for short runs in wired network uses, however we do not recommend it nor provide any guarantee for networking uses.
