The HCT9V HDMI Cable tester is designed to check and troubleshoot the pin connections of HDMI cables. It is idealfor testing the continuity of each pin of an HDMI cable prior to installation of equipment.

Please note:
  • This unit only supports up to HDMI v1.3 (not v1.3c or v1.4). Test results of cables designed for HDMI versions higher than v1.3 will only confirm cable is ok for HDMIv1.3.
  • Will not work with cables with built-in repeaters orchipsets; only some of the LEDs will lightup (refer to imagebelow).
